Why a patient paid a $285 copay for a $40 drug

    Yeah health care pricing doesn't make much sense. I had to shop around for medication for my cat. One pharmacy wanted $1200 for a box. Another wanted $600 and another charged $60.

    That is absurd.Definitely shop around. The price differences are really bizarre to say the least.

    We take our dog to a vet who charges much less than others in town. One of the differences is the ambiance. Like who cares if the place is fancy? You do have to wait longer at this place but it’s worth the wait when the vets are just as capable. Oh and you gotta love the guilt trip they try to put on you when you don’t spend a zillion dollars for unnecessary tests. We had dogs and s few cats all my life. It isn’t my first rodeo with pets.
