Biopsy tomorrow morning :/

Hi all! I'm a 34 year mom of 4 and was referred to a breast specialist by my gyno for some issues. The specialist did a mammogram and ultrasound and found(in the breast giving me trouble) 2 growths beneath my nipple. She said one looks fine from the ultrasound but the other larger one looks concerning. So here I am. A little worried, but holding together.

Hi, Jenn. I'm sorry you're having to play the waiting game. I just turned 39.I had a biopsy a few months ago on a lump I found. I went in to see my GYN, thinking she'd tell me that it's just another cyst. I wasn't worried when she sent me for testing as I thought it was probably nothing. I started freaking out when the radiologist came in to redo the U/S himself and didn't really stop until I got my biopsy results a week later. Fortunately, they were B9. I have fibrocystic breasts and they can apparently do some oddball things as they age. I hope to not have further trouble from the ol' twins but I know that nothing is certain. My grandmother also has fibrocystic breasts and she had multiple biopsies due to that. Fortunately for her, all were B9.
The biopsy wasn't bad at all. I felt a little stick when he began numbing the area but no pain during the sampling. I was crazy anxious, so perhaps the adrenaline helped! All that heart pounding did make me bleed some so the nurse had to put pressure on it for nearly 20 minutes afterward. That was worse than the biopsy. I'm tiny. She wasn't. I'm fairly certain she bruised my back where she was pushing me down into the table but she did get it to stop bleeding! Haha. Sore for a few days but Tylenol took care of it. The worst post procedure thing for me was looking at it. It was a physical reminder that could have been the beginning of a journey I didn't want to be on. So, when I first removed the bandages, I had a bit of a meltdown. I wasn't prepared for that.
All that said, this forum was hugely helpful in reminding me that I would handle whatever happened even if I didn't think I could. It's not a fun place to be but these ladies are amazing. I Googled way too much and freaked myself out even more than was necessary. Google is not your friend. Much of the info is outdated and difficult for a layperson to really put into perspective. I won’t tell you not to worry. I will suggest that you try to do something fun every day.It sounds like you're much calmer than I was and I hope you stay that way.
I hope very much for a B9 result for you!
April
P.S. I am long-winded. Hope something in all of that was helpful!

Thank you everyone! The biopsy went smoothly yesterday. The doctor said the first one was most likely a beingn duct issue but the second was more suspicious. I should know something either late today or Monday. Not too concerned though, I'm sure it's nothing

Glad to hear the procedure went well! Fingers crossed for B9 results.
