I'm scheduled for my bilateral mastectomy next Tuesday. I wasn't a candidate for flap surgery (not enough usable tissue) so I'll be reconstructing with implants. I am 49 years old. My stomach is drooping, as is everything else, although it's not horrible because I never had biological children.

My question is whether there will be some kind of “lift" when tissue is removed. Specifically the fat around the sides and bottom of my breasts.

Does anyone have any info on this? I'll ask my PS at my preop appointment but that's not until Monday.

Thanks!
