I have a doctors appointment anyway, but that's in 9 days.

I've had this red dot right above my nipple for a long time, I just never even thought about it. It's dark red and slightly raised, I know about those spots people get but it's a little bigger than like the one on my arm. Like maybe a small stud earring.. I now noticed there's two tiny ones now above that and also one near a mole I have on the side of my breast. But now I'm freaking out because I had sudden bad back pain in the middle, like a little lower than my breast but same side. It got worse once after sex so I thought it was a bad muscle got even more torn from thator something? Now it's not so bad but it's still pain, not constant but when I move a certain way, has hurt for like a month. I’m telling myself since it’s not consistent it could be something else Maybe mainly when I breathe in deep. And now I read that can be a sign that breast cancer has spread and how a red spot can be a sign. Am I overreacting??? My grandma on my dad's side had breast cancer and I'm 28

Gingerlyapple, sorry you're here and worried, but wanted to say welcome!

Please, keep in mind that most breast changes are not related to cancer, specially at your age. Anyway, our general recommendation is always to make an appointment with your doctor to have those changes checked out. We know that waiting is horrible, but hope that you will soon learn the cause of your spot and back pain. Try to relax till your appointment, and keep us posted on how it goes!

    Best wishes,

Your symptoms sound unrelated at this point

Having pain when you breath in can indicate inflammation of the membrane covering your lungs and should be evaluated by your doctor soon.

thank you. The back pain is kind of always there, not just when I breathe in and it's not a sharp pain so hopefully it's not that. Because it can also hurt if I twist or bend Im guessing because it hurt and then lessened, then hurt a lot again and is a bit better now maybe it really is just a musle
