Concerning Final Pathology Results

I had a dmx/diep on August 6 following an initial diagnosis of IDC/DCIS. Today I got the final pathology following surgery and it shows "small focus of IDC with High grade DCIS at posterior inked margin". I was also told following surgery that they 2 took sentinel lymph nodes and both were clear, but my final path shows "capsular microscopic focus of metastatic adenocarcinoma" in one lymph node. I was already planning for chemo and now they want to follow chemo with radiation. Has anyone else here had this experience and care to share your story with me? I'm a little confused about what this means. What is the impact of radiation post DIEP? I'm told also there is no screening post chemo/radiation to determine the success of the treatments.
