New here. Symptom question.
Good morning,
I am 37 yrs, married and a mother of 2.
20 days ago my left breast began to itch. Literally constantly and it's an itch I am unable to scratch iykwim.
The skin is red and looks raised, there is a bruise that I don’t recall making and hasn’t changed for days. the itching continues - I have tried piriton, emollient creams, anti itch products and even gone bra-less for most of this time as I'm finding bras increasingly uncomfortable.
My breast feels different, I mean, obvs the skin feels different where the rash is but I also mean I feel different, almost as if there's something stuck to my skin.
I have a small area of occasional pain right at the top of my breast just before my armpit. I can't feel any enlarged lymph nodes. That just started last night.
I had a hysterectomy 3 years ago due to adenomyosis and issues after an emergency c section. I have been on hrt since.
I breastfed for 5 years (two children).
My left nipple was crusty with dried fluid last week.
My left nipple has very slightly inverted- usually they are like coat hooks but I can't make it stop being inverted.
My GP referred me to the breast cancer clinic and my appt is tomorrow morning. They do as many tests as possible in one day and try to give results the same day.
I guess there's no reason I'm typing this except I feel better for doing it and I wonder if anyone else has had similar experiences

Hi Oushka, You're up early, but definitely not alone here!
The waiting is really hard. Only recommendation I have is to hold tight and bring someone you can lean on tomorrow. It is hard to listed to simple instructions when you are there.
I just received my first chemo this week after surgery late July. I'm still scared, but it is going well. Of course I'm up early cause I need the throne (yippie - constipation got me yesterday).
Have some time to yourself in the sun today to keep the spirits up.

thank you for your reply Kelly-Anne, I am a florist so often have to be up and out with the dawn. I have kept busy today yet the time has dragged... tho this week has passed much quicker than I expected it to.
I’m nervous for tomorrow, my husband is coming with me - I took some photos of my nipple inversion as it didn’t look as bad this morning but is worse now - just in case it’s looking more normal tomorrow 😆
I haven’t shared this with my parents yet, just a close friend.
I hope your treatment goes well, and the freedom from constipation remains! Xx
