Post lumpectomy pain
I had a lumpectomy last Thursday. Is it normal to have sharp stabbing type pains?

A weeks is not long at all to still have some pain. Lots of us have talked about having sharp "zappy" pains off and onfor months. I was told it was cut nerves trying to reconnect. If you start having warmth or redness or running fever you should check in with your doctor

Yes, can definitely be normal. When is your surgery follow-up?

Friday am post surgery follow up. I know the dr said it was benign but I just have a gut feeling he’s gonna have something bad to say at the appt.
