DCIS Recurrence after lumpectomy and SAVI

I was diagnosed with DCIS, Stage 0, <1cm, hormone negative. Had lumpectomy 07/26/17 and sentinel node removal, clear margins, and SAVI brachytherapy.

Followed up with six month mammograms and doctor visits. At my one year follow up, microcalcifications were found and I had another biopsy, which was positive for DCIS.

This is disheartening, but I am told that I can have another lumpectomy followed by full breast radiation, because I had targeted radiation last time.

Has recurrence happened to anyone else post treatment?
