abdominal wound after DIEP flap surgery

I had DIEP flap in June and since day 1 have had a small wound just below my belly button. It has improved slowly since the beginning but was just debrided last week, removing necrotic tissue that was on the surface. I was wondering if anyone else had had this complication and how long it took to heal. Thanks.

I had something very similar. Except mine was kinda self inflicted. (Dancing in high heels four weeks out )

I opened a one inch section of sutures from said dancing. The PS had me clean it twice a day and put silvadine on it. Then I'd cover it with gauze and try to keep anything from rubbing it. Took about 3 months to heal completely.
