I had a stereotactic biopsy last week. Results benign. But dr said discordant. My birad ackre was 4. Architectural distortion with speculation. So Thursday I had the spot removed. Now I’m recovering from surgery and waiting for pathology reports.

    I hope you get results soon and all is well. I had a biopsy on Wed and am waiting on results. BIRADS 4. Radiologist seemed not to be optimistic. Told me to be prepared. This is beyond awful. So worried.

    my surgeon had said the same thing. But he called today to say it was a radial scar. And the course of treatment was to remove it, which has been done. Follow up in 6 months. Apparently this radial scar can increase chances of cancer in thenfutire but I will ask the dr when I have mynpiat surgery appt this week. Best wishes tonyou
