What do you wish you had asked?

Hello,

I was diagnosed July 25 and we see the surgeon on Monday to discuss options. I have a list of questions to ask but I'm curious if anyone has any questions that you wished you had asked during yourfirst visit with your surgeon but didn't realize until after? Thanks so much. <3

    I wish I could have pressed for immediate DIEP with mastectomy instead of waiting 4 months. It was the lowest point in my life.

    I wish I had pressed for mastectomy harder. The BS talked me out of it with the usuall arguments (that are quite all right, of course), but then he was unable to achieve clear margins. So I wish Ihad listened more to my gut than the BS's reasoning
