Test results - please help with interpreting

I appreciate so much Your advice, and once again wish to ask for some kind of interpretation . My Mum (77) underwent in May mastectomy (stage 3b) unfortunately they found something suspicious in her sternum PET-CT report described it as ostesclerotic-osteolotic lession, SUV 4.5, SUV max. 2.9, suspicious of mets. It is the solitary lesion 50mm in length, painless at palpation, no other symptoms. Now we wait for a bone scan, in the meantime however I would be immensely grateful for any suggestion, may someone here shares similar experience, is it always meta ? or still there is some hope?
