    Make sure the cold cap fits well. Are you using dry ice?

    Do you trust your medical team? If they know about your heart condition, they should be taking that into account and letting you know what they will be doing to keep you safe. I did not have a pre existing heart condition, but took taxotere and herceptin, and my heart was closely monitored with echocardiograms.

    I am using Dignicap. I think the issue is it did not fit well enough on top the first time but I didn't know what a good fit was the first time. Also it may not have been kept on long enough the first two times. I have had a different technician for the last two or three cycles and it seems like she keeps it on longer than the first one. I still have enough hair to look normal if I wear a hat but we will see if it can last for two more infusions.
