If a screening (3D) reveals abnormality in one breast and you’re called back for diagnostic mammo and u/s, do they only recheck the one breast that screening mammo found something in, or do they recheck both breasts?

What happened with me when they found abnormality in both of my breasts during the 3 D mammo the diagnostic mammo was with a magnifier added to the 3D mammo machine they did both breasts because they found uncertain abnormality in both of them but my left one was a bit more suspicious looking that they sent me for a ultra sound of only the left breast .

So I figure if there is only one side showing a abnormality with a need of a zooming in view of the inside they probably would just only do that one side .

Did you get a call in to get a Diagnostic Mammo ?

My breast density is scattered fibroglandular. Idk what that means other than I know false positives tend to happen a lot with dense breadts

Scattered areas of fibroglandular density indicates there are some scattered areas of density, but the majority of the breast tissue is nondense. So your less dense than I am
