Hi all.

I’ve spent days worrying about this, switching from ‘all out panic’ to deciding ‘it is normal’ several times each day! So I figured it was time to ask for some advice.

I’m 34 years old, mum of two, no family history of BC.

When doing my BSE this month, I noticed that when I lift my arm over my head, my left breast forms a “not quite an indent” at the 4 o’ clock position. There is no dent or dimple in the skin, but the outline of my boob loses its roundness and looks flat for about an inch. It’s really hard to explain. When I press the area it feels empty inside, like there is no breast tissue under it, just fat. The rest of my breasts are very dense/fibrocystic.

I’m not sure if this is classed as a dimple or not. I’m also not sure if it is normal and that I’ve just never noticed it before! My other breast doesn’t do this, but I do have uneven breasts.

I’ve booked an appointment with my GP next week but it’s such a long time to deal with this uncertainty.

I just wondered if anyone has heard of anything similar or can offer any advice? I’m so confused
