Lump and pain but unsure

hello, I am 34 years old and recently found a lump in my right breast near my areola,I also have constant pain in my breast and nipple. It has been there 2-3 months. Last week I had an ultrasound done it came back normal, today went for a diagnostic mammogram came up with nothing, so radiologist sent me for another ultrasound where he sat in on, still nothing! The doctor felt the lump, the radiologist felt it and even the technicians felt it. But nobody knows what it is. I have been referred to a breast surgeon now not sure what is going happen or what results I will get for whatever they do. Should I be concerned? Has anyone else had this problem? I may add that I have a strong family history of breast cancer so I am really stressing.
