tamoxifen after 10 years

Hello Everyone: I hope someone can give me some reassurance. I have recently reached the 10 year mark of being on tamoxifen. My doctor says there is no current evidence that taking something longer has any benefit. I really feel like I should now take a aromatase inhibitor for an additional 5 years. I saw where others are doing this. Do any of you have experience of taking something longer that 10 years? I don't want to drop the ball and miss the opportunity of doing something that could really benefit me.
