Pagets or bacterial infection?

Just a question as to whether anyone thought they had pagets and then was put on antibiotics and it went away or went away and came back? Sore on nipple showed up 2 months ago, woke me up in the middle of the night, since then has been very sore and tender, red and slightly swollen. The sore seems to come and go but it feels like a blister or lesion with no discharge or flakiness at all. Was initially put on a anti fungal thinking maybe it was a yeast infection, still there. Had a clear mammogram and ultrasound of the nipple. Was on prednisone for 10 days for poisen oak in different location, still there, triminocycline topical cream for 2 weeks prescribed by dermotologist, still there. Went back to derm and she put me on Cephalexon antibiotics for 2 weeks, just wondering if it goes away am I good or might there still be a problem? Just wondering if anyone else has had similar experience? From reading about Pagets sometimes it seems like it takes awhile to get a diagnosis. TIA

My primary doc sent me to a breast surgeon for a biospy.It was not bad at all.I would request a biospy.

I was diagnosed back in March and had very similar symptoms. I had pretty severe eczema on my hands already so just assumed it was the same. It would almost heal up and then flare up again same as my hands. I was actually seeing the surgeon for a cyst on the other side and pointed it out hoping to get a stronger cream. She knew immediately and did the biopsy right away. I had already been through extensive mammograms and ultra sounds up to this point because of the cysts. Nothing showed up at all on either. Once the results came back she sent me for the MRI and still nothing showed there either. So all the normal tests that would be run outside of the biopsy were normal and of no concern.
