I'm a 38 year old female, active duty Navy stationed in Japan. I found a lump in my left breast about 8 months ago, about the size of a dime, not super hard, but not soft either in the upper left section of my left breast near my armpit. I was sure it was just fibrous tissue or something so not too worried about it. I finally got around to making an appointment and went in on Monday for an exam where they referred me to get a diagnostic mammogram and US. Ever since then I have been worried and have been checking out the lump and have noticed a smaller, pea sized lump which is harder than the grape sized lump but they seem connected (or very close together.) And they don't really move at all. The entire size is about an inch, from top to bottom and about 1/2 an inch across. My left underarm is kinda sore too and seems pretty lumpy, whereas the right does not. I don't really have a question, but I am worried and can't sleep. My next appointment isn't until August 17th!! Thanks for listening.
