Amica, I remember when I was consulting with my first RO (the one I didn't use) I asked her what would happen if I had rads and later had recurrence one of my non-operative lymph nodes. She said she would then discuss with the patient doing rads on that area again. It was something that stood out in my discussion with her (probably the only thing I actually learned in that consult, actually) that doing rads again to the same area is an option when options are slim.

Also, a lot of stage IV women go on for years on just hormone suppressors. It used to be the first line therapy against HR+ mets up until very recently when Ibrance and other CDK4/6 inhibitors came on the market. But I am shocked that she wouldn't at least try dosing down or switch you to another CDK4/6 inhibitor. It may be that those other options aren't approved in Canada. You really need to try to get a different MO, at the very least. Good luck with all of this, I don't know how you're keeping it together with the level of care you're getting up there. I'd be losing my shit.

thanks Hapa, I left a message for the radiation oncologist to see if she was able to get a hold of my former radiation oncologist. I need to ask her about what if they were to re-radiate previously radiated areas, and what are the risks.

I am losing my shit lol. Early this morning I woke up, I was burning up. I looked in the mirror, my face was chalk-white. I took my temperature, and it was 34.5 degrees centigrade, which is 94.1 degrees fahrenheit. That is in the hypothermia range. During the night I had repeatedly felt hot, and had kicked off my top blankets. I thought about going to the ER, but first I had two hot teas, and bundled up. My house temperature is warm, I don't know what happened. My stupid onc said don't phone her unless it is urgent, but I still left a message about my temperature. I mean, I don't know if it is dangerous for my temp to go down so low over-night. My temp is now back up to 36 C, 96.8 Fahrenheit. My usual temperature is around 36.5. I hate this Centigrade stuff, the only thermometers I can find in Canada.
