Started chemo July 20, 2018 AC + Taxol

Hello everyone,

My name is Nicole I was diagnosed June 13, 2018 I’m being treated before with chemo. AC and then Taxol. The first two days have been ok. Just fatigue and a headache. I’m get severe motion sickness so my docrhas me on hydro therapy for two days after treatment. I’ll probably get sick Monday and Tuesday. We will see. It’s so different for everyone. Doing the Taxol weekly for 12 weeks doesn’t sound fun. Any tips

Nicole1966–. With AC chemo, it’s important to take any anti-nausea meds as prescribed. Don’t wait til you feel nauseous to take them. I had to take my prescribed anti-nausea meds for 3-4 days after each AC treatment. Also, drink plenty of water. I found I needed to eat something every 3-4 hours for the first few days after each cycle. Sleep when you feel the need. Walking each day seemed to help, too.

You can do this. It isn’t fun but it is doable. Take it one day at a time.

today seems the worst. I feel like I have the flu. Have to work tomorrow!
