Stopping Chemo for 2 months to deliver? Worried

Has this happened with anyone else? I start chemo next Wednesday. AC for 4 rounds dose dense. Then I'll stop until after I deliver. I'm due December 5 but they'll most likely induce at week 35/36 which would be the end of October or the beginning of November. A couple weeks later I'll start Taxol (I believe that's the name) for 12 weeks.

I'm worried about stopping chemo in September and not starting back up until possibly November.

Not exactly the same, but for me they waited from january (when I got diagnosed) to april to start chemo... They waited until my son was born (c-section). Unfoutenately it spread to my lymphnodes during this period. At least nothing was visible at the scans in january..

Hi Anna,

I think that's what I'm afraid of. It had already spread to so many of my lymph nodes before surgery which gives me enough anxiety.

Now I'm worried the same will happen in between chemo treatments.

But you have finished surgery and removed lymphnodes

Yes. I had a mastectomy and node removal.

Ok... for me the thing was that i had to wait so long for surgery as well... It sounds safer when you already have went through surgery..
