I'm 26..I have had a swollen lymph node in my right armpit for going on three years. I've seen three doctors and i've had two ultrasounds. It was diagnosed as a "normal swollen lymph node" (which i never really felt comfortable about but after seeing 3 doctors about it i felt like i should let it go)

about 3 weeks ago i noticed a lump in my right breast. it feels similar to the swollen lymph node just not as easily moveable. Feels like a small grape, or a large pea.. i cant tell if its moving or if skin/fat above it is moving. Now i've noticed a few other lumps around it. I feel very lumpy now lol

I stopped birth control pills in december and i started back on them in april. i wonder if my hormones being all wack and changing could be making me feel lumpy?

I have a doctors appointment monday. I wouldnt be so worried if i didn't have that swollen lymph node in my armpit also. I just dont have a very good feeling about this :(

In the cases of breast cancer I have seen, none have been preceded by the presence of "swollen" lymph nodes with the breast mass showing up 3 years later.

An ultrasound of the new lump you feel along with the nodes you felt previously will help determine what is going on. Make sure the exam is compared to your prior one so they can remark on any interval changes.
