Can radiation take care of residual DCIS

The reason I have to go for mastectomy is this part of pathology report of re excision
18mm intermediate grade DCIS close to new inferior margin of 0.4 mm
I will be meeting radiation oncologist on Monday .
Is it possible that radiation can take care of residual DCIS ?
