The waiting is the worst.

I had my annual mam June 16 and was told need additional views, diagnostic mam and possibly a U/S. It took them a month to get me back in. Had my diagnostic mam, then kept for U/s. The radiologist. recommendation a biopsy. Which is scheduled for the 24th.

My U/s results were available electronically and will post here. Can anyone offer any insight? I’m preparing myself that it is something.

Recommendations: Biopsy should be performed in the absence
of clinical contraindication
Laterality: Right

Persistent 1 cm oval mass with several undulations at the

approximate 9 o'clock periareolar position of the right
breast. There has been a change at this site since prior
mammography.

Ultrasound:
Ultrasound of the periareolar 9 o'clock position of the
right breast demonstrates a 1 cm probable focally dilated
milk duct with suggestion of branching. Within the deep
portion of this focally dilated milk duct there is a 3 mm x
4 mm focal filling defect, possibly representing intraductal
mass, therefore suspicious.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
