I’ve read the data from the Herceptin and Neuvax trial, and it was certainly promising for triple negative participants with low-level Her2, which I was. It showed a 70% reduction in recurrence. The trial was closed ahead of schedule due to meeting objectives. The plan is to now get FDA approval. What’s the hold-up? The process is frustrating. Will the Right to Try legislation apply to TNBC patients who don’t get a pCR with neoadjuvant chemo? Also, why are there areas of the country where there are so few clinical trials? I live in Alabama, and it’s a trial desert here.

Hi tnfrith, and thanks for posting!

All great questions you have about this trial and the NeuVax approval. We're not sure we can answer your questions, but we bet there'd be some great insight from our other members either on the Clinical Trials forum or also the thread here in the Immunotherapy forum called Immunotherapy drugs for breast cancer. Feel free to post in either place and see if anyone has any insight!
