Lymphnode

Hi Guys,

Not sure if this is the right section to post. But did anyone have lymphnode swelling after excision? I had a Duct excision (is this the same as a lumpectomy?) 3 weeks ago and last night under my arm was painful, and i noticed an enlarged node. I've been trying to get into my dr but he's full for the week, and I don't really want to sit on it until my Onc appt next week. Anyway, I know that i'm still healing from my surgery, but i wouldn't have figured it would have swelled then. Is this common? It only makes me nervous because while I was DX with DCIS and I Know that it doesn't spread, i'm worried theres more cancer other places. I wasn't dx'd with imaging, just the surgery so that's been playing on my mind.

Any advice or experience may help ease the anxiety while I wait.

Edited to Add that there is no sign of infection at my incision
