Lapatinib plus Xeloda to treat Her-2+++

Anyone who knows about this treatment for Her-2(3+) BC and mets to lung? My grandma is suffering from one of the side effect -- chapped skin and she has dificulity going for walk and exercising. We are guessing it is Xeloda that is causing these pain so we are considering to just take the Lapatinib. Any other one out there in the same boat and any opinions? Thanks!
