Good words, dtad. It's hard to figure out why they do what they do. As I recall, in the old days, cancer patients weren't always told the truth but you would think it would be different in the 21st Century. Do they not ever read the studies? Do they think we will get side effects by suggestion? Are they tired of watching patients cry? When I stopped the Femara, my MO said OK. That was all. I was shocked. Does she know that it's not really effective but she has to offer it, as at least 30-40% of early stage go on to stage IV anyway. After treatment hormone therapy is all they have to offer in their goody bag, you would think they'd want to help us like you say.

I have been on letrozole for 5 and a half years. Now I find that most of my days are spent feeling very tired, out of it, and somewhat woozy. Could these symptoms be caused by letrozole? i also have new aches and pains which drastically disturb my sleep which I believe is probably the core problem of my feeling so terrible. Has anyone else experienced what I am going through and if so, what did you do to begin to feel normal again? I don't feel this is age related.
