Allergic to Alloderm?

Alloderm was used to create a "hammock" in my reconstruction and a couple of months later I developed the autoimmune disease polymyalgia rheumatica. Could Alloderm be the trigger of the disease?

I have many other allergies: to drugs, plants, some clothing dyes, etc. and develop new ones all of the time so it seems logical.

Has anyone else experienced this or heard of it?

autoimmune issues can be organic or caused by things as simple as a cold, stress, flu, surgery, etc. so it may not be the allidermbthat brought it on but the stress of surgery/diagnosis/etc.

Thank you. I've read about the possible triggers - just about anything

I asked because I must have some revision surgery and will have the Alloderm taken out, but hope doing so will help relieve or possibly stop the PMR.
