Has anyone here taken Tamoxifen longer than 10 years?

I just finished 10 years and would love to continue taking it, but my oncologist said there are no studies proving its effectiveness after 10 years. I feel extremnely vulnerable now to the cancer returning. 
Should I get a second opinion? Has anyone here taken it longer than 10 years?

I was told that the benefits of tamoxifen are long term andextends far beyond the 10 years. I hope that gives some comfort.
