Had lumpectomy but confused

hi had my lumpectomy finally on left breast to remove fibroadenoma. My fibroadenoma had two piece site a moveable mass with like a cord going down to what they believe is another part of it that is on chest wall, I've never heard of a fibroadenoma being connected to chest wall,anyone have any experience in this. I haven't seen even been able to find an article.

My surgeon was great they did an ultrasound guided while I was under never block, the went under and numbed chest muscles by going under them between ribs. That has helped with pain a lot, worried about what it will be like when wears of. Anyone ever had knead how bad is it after? Anyone have any post op advice?

They sent it/them off for testing but was told results would be back in about 3 weeks.😧. Seems long when my surgeon is a breast oncologist working at a cancer center.

Any advice or your story would be greatly appreciated.
