I had my bmx 1.5 years ago with immediate, direct to implant reconstruction . A few months later I had fat grafting to even out the ripples that the implants caused. My results are amazing. However, I just had a follow up appointment today with my breast surgeon. An ultrasound was completed, and two cysts were found in both breasts, exactly where my PS did the fat graft. My BS told me that this is 💯 normal. I trust her fully. Anyone else have these cysts after a surgery Appear? Why now, 7 months post fat transfer surgery?

I realise this post was several years ago but I wanted to ask what happened to your cysts? Did they go away, or do you still have them? I have quite a few ranging in size from small seeds to one about the size of a pea. Most of them are under my arm around my implants and not noticeable or too uncomfortable, but the largest one is on the front of my left breast and can clearly be seen. I’m hoping there is something I can do to try and break it down.

I still have some, but definitely not as many. They don’t bother me anymore. However, my cysts could only be felt, not seen. Have you had them checked out by your doctor? Those that went away, went away on their own. I didn’t necessary do anything to get rid of them. Best of luck to you!! I’m curious to see how your cysts resolve.
