Triple negative and Asthma

Hi - I am wondering if there are many triple negative people out there who have Asthma and what medications they are taking to control it.

I was taking steroids but having a horrible time with them, constantly getting thrush and having to go off them. Last February I got a cold (lasted for 2 or 3 weeks) which I eventually got over. Then about 2 months ago I got the sort of chest growl (like I had when I had my cold), went on beclamethasone, got thrush, quit the steroid and have basically been using Ventolin everyday to control the chest tightness.

I went to the doctor yesterday and he gave me Alvesco and Singulair and told me to take them both. He asked if I wanted an X-ray but I declined. At this point I believe it is just Asthma.

While I was in his office I was doctor googling the medication and came across this article. It is new July 2018 I saw somewhere.

So I am hoping that my asthma clears up in the next few weeks (and that it is not something more ominous) and hoping that this medications helps more than just my asthma!

I know tumeric (which I already take) is a leukotrine interceptor and good for cancer prevention, so that is why I hope Singulair will be protective also. But as with any drug there are side effects...
