Got my port today, Echocardiogram tomorrow

It’s been a busy last few days for me. Last week had my ct scans finally and met with my chemo and radiation doctors for my treatment plan. Was at the hospital this morning at 6am for my port placement. Sounds like it’ll be about 4 months of chemo ahead of me, and then 33 rounds of radiation. Kinda overwhelming, but it is what it is.

Good news, my scans were clean! Finally some positive news Chemo doc wants me to have an echocardiogram before I start treatment, so that’s scheduled for tomorrow. With the holiday coming up, they weren’t sure last week if my 1st infusion will be this week or not. I guess I’m as ready as anyone can be. My head felt like it was spinning when the chemo doc started listing all the drugs I’ll have to take over the next yr, but I guess that reaction is normal.Trying to keep positive here and so very thankful my scans were ok.
