Herceptin and the other anti-Her2 drugs have been game-changers. They have worked very well for many women, turning what used to be a bad-prognosis cancer into a very treatable one. I wouldn't skip it, unless you have a medical condition which would make it too risky for you.

I have been on herceptin for almost 7 years, Her2+. I am stage 4.  Minimal side effects and seems to be keeping those cancer cells at bay for the most part.  I would go with it if your onc is recommending
