I know no one is a doctor but I'm just curious, does anyone know if it's possible in a malignant situation for the solid nodule/mass to be smaller than affected lymph nodes?

I am awaiting biopsy (not scheduled yet bc my doctor has been dragging her feet on getting moving on putting the referral in). I finally just saw my report. They found a solid 9mm nodule in the upper part of my right breast, a solid 8mm nodule in the lower part of my right breast, and lymph nodes between 1.3-1.5cm in my left armpit and one lymph node enlarged over 3cm in my right armpit. The report also talked about hilum replacement. I don't know. It says the findings are BIRADS 4..?

I'm not asking anyone to comment on my situation specifically. I'm just curious if a nodule is smaller than the lymph node and there was malignancy why would that be. I don't know.... You just think about everything you know. This waiting is killing me. As you may have seen on my other posting, my mom just passed from breast cancer last year. Anyway, you all are amazing. It's so great to have some support. Thanks for letting me ramble!
