help reading a ct report
HI all. I have had pulmonary nodules in my lungs found incidentally before my diep flap last year and so far they are stable. however I did have radiation finishing mid February and had a recheck on my lungs with low density ct. Ill copy it below. Should I be conecerned? Could this new finding be because of the breast rads on that side? I did have bc right side and chemo and rads. also had a bilateral mastectomy. I appreciate any help as I am a bit anxious about this. I don't see my oncologist for a couple of weeks

I can't add much other than I know my sister after having rads from Inflammatory Breast Cancer developed nodules in her lungs. They told her it was lscar tissue.
You could always call your MO and discuss your concerns sooner.
Wish you the best.

For me my nodule is too small for biopsy so they are following up in 6 months with another CT to see if it's growing. Hope this link can help a bit.

thank you beach and vampeyes. I was wondering if it could be the radiation. Im a bit apprehensive but can wait. Ill just kill myself googling..lol

T, I obsessively googled it when they told me I had a spot they were going to watch and it does nothing for you. They honestly won't know it's cancer until it's big enough to do a biopsy. My naturalpath said the Tamoxifen is our best defense against any cancer cells that may still be lingering. He also said a LCHF diet, and a bunch of vitamins - I can't afford all he suggested so I am doing what I can. Changed the diet (day 6 today!), added in Tumeric and trying to do Yoga to lessen the stress.
