Two weeks ago Ifound a lump in my left breast and made an appointment with my Gyno to get it check. She said is was nothing, but scheduled an ultrasound for me. I had the ultrasound and they said it was a solid lump and wanted to get a core needle biopsy done on it. Since I’m in my 20’s the year assume its fibroadenoma. This is the ultrasound result......Palpable lump corresponds to a 1 cm oval hypoechoic slightly heterogeneous mass with circumscribed and slightly lobulated margins in the upper outer left breast approximately 3 cm from the nipple. This may represent a fibroadenoma BIRAD 4a....I had the biopsy yesterday and I should get the results in the next day or so. I’m not concerned that they wanted to do a biopsy, I am concerned because of some symptoms I’ve been having. My left breast has been going numb in different areas and in my nipple, I’ve had shooting pains in the side of my breast, I’ve been having a burning sensation in the same breast, burning in my left armpit, and the top of my left hand has been going numb. This is all only happening on my left side. This may be unrelated to the lump, but I wanted to see if there was anyone else that had numbness or burning in thier breast?
