Military Wife Moving Soon & Need Tricare Advice

Hi my husband is active duty Navy. We are moving right after my radiation is completed, and right as I will start Tamoxifen. I prefer to go with the oncology physicians my uncle, who lives in the area we are moving and is a heart surgeon, knows and has recommended, which are civilian doctors. My nurse navigator thinks Tricare will not approve these referrals, and that I will have to be seen at pur new base first. I think that is such a waste if time! Any advice. My husband will be working in the hospital we are transferring to, so that is reason enough to request an outside referral.
