Total duct excision

Hello,so I have never posted before so please bear with me. Tomorrow if the day I have all my ducts in my left breast removed and to put it lightly I am completely terrified.

So a month or so ago I found a lump and had significant breast changes which included my nipple inverting inwards however this changes through out the day and will change from inwards to outwards spontaneously. Also my whole breast is now drooping never had this before at only 25 and also brownish discharge and aching pains. So with all this combined I was immediately sent for tests.

My ultrasound came back clear as in the lump didn't even show as existing which confused the hospital as it is clearly felt. Any way more appointments and they have decided on a total duct excision. I wasn't expecting this in the slightest and I am so scared.

I have made the stupid mistake of not asking any questions so I have no clue what to expect like how long it takes, when will I feel ok, what it will look like and when I will be back on my feet. I guess I'm just looking for support. Feeling very overwhelmed and not sleeping just want the nightmare over.
