Exercise & sports bras

Options

I used to exercise alot before diagnosed. I have E cups, so used to truss myself up in the sturdiest sports bra I could get. I have found that this does not work anymore as my fake side rides up under my chin. Also, I used to wear singlets because I get very hot. Now not possible. I really want to get back to group fitness and Zumba, but how? I really want to have the other side taken off, but that will not be for a long time. Any suggestions?

    Hi Glitter69-

Welcome to BCO! We know it can be difficult to find bras during this stage. There's a very active thread with tons of info that you might find helpful here: https://community.breastcancer.org/forum/44/topics...

I come from a family of larger breasts. Have you thought about a good sports bar with a prothetic in the one side? Did that work?

I wondering if they make ae exercise tank with a good shelf bra sewn to the tank so it won't ride up.

Have you found a swim top that works for swiming that you could modify? Lycra is definitely going to be more helpful in keeping stuff in position.

I have a different challenge but molded cups definitely work the best for me. Also something with a racerback tends to ride up less.

Walmart has these awesome bras with wider bands that support under the arm area their sports bra is pretty good quality with a nice soft wide band.

I also would look into tanks for cyclists because they tend to have integrated bras which would help with sliding hopefully. I haven't found a good exercise line of tops for bigger breasts even before a mastectomy. I used to have to wear two sports bras to keep things somewhat undercontrol.
