Hi everyone. I had my appointment today with the breast specialist and stereostatic biopsy (ouch!) today. The specialist basically said what my doctor said and what everything I have read said, 'most of the time these calcifications are benign'. She did notethat the calcification were a new finding whenever compared to my mammogram in a few years ago, and there were more in the cluster that weren't there 6 months ago. She said they were still likely normal changes in the breast. The radiologist said they got a really good sample, so that is good.

Still nervous... but not overly so. They said to expect results Friday or Monday.

Wishing you all the best! Yes, calcifications in my left breast have caused me several call-backs over the years but then somehow they've disappeared! Hope you get good news soon.

Thank you both for responding! I feel pretty good about everything. Even if they find DCIS or IDC, I feel confident we can fight it! This is a group of special people. Thank you for your support
