Fiberous breast /uterus

Hello all. I'm a first time poster, just looking to talk with others who have had similar experiences. I'm 27, mother to two beautiful girls. Anyways, back towards the end of March, I noticed a lump in my left breast. I probably wouldn't have noticed it, except for the fact that it was painful. So here we are, four months later, and I finally got in to have someone due an exam. I explained to them the lump, the pain, and the itchiness. She felt around and told me that she did not find a lump, but that my breasts were very fiberous, especially the left one. She wants me to return in a month for an ultrasound. At that time she should have results back from my pap smear. She told me that my uterus seems very fiberous too. She was super vague about everything, so I guess this will be a long and worrisome month. I'm not sure what I will be told or what will happen. So if anyone has similar experience, calming advice or just words of encouragement, that would be very appreciated.

60% of women have fibrocystic breasts - more than not. Denser areas of breast tissue can feel "lumpy", but still be normal. There is every reason to believe your ultrasound will be fine.

As to the uterine fibroids, those are very common too.
