hello Ladies :)

I'm having a double mastectomy with DIEP reconstruction in 2 weeks. Tomorrow after work my plastic surgeon is lifting up my (good) nipple and scraping it for a biopsy to make sure that the nipple I'm keeping safely has no cancer cells hiding beneath it. My dr says another benefit to this procedure is it brings more blood and circulation to the nipple and increases the chances that the nipple will do well after surgery.

Anyone have this done? My job wants me to come in the next day but I think I want to take a sick day because my surgeon suggested it. He said I should remain inactive the next day and I'm guessing this will be painful. Anyone BTDT?
