Cysts on liver

Options

Hello! Has anyone found cysts on your liver during a breast MRI? My doc is not concerned. He thinks they're benign bc they aren't "lighting up" on the MRI and bc it's common to have cysts like this...but I talked him into an MRI of the abdomen. Haven't done any bloodwork yet. Of course I'm worried...thoughts?

Thanks soul sisters!

I have a liver cyst that was identified during my diagnostic CT. It has been stable through all my imaging, so yeah. It's just a cyst.

My "incendentalomas" from different scans have showed cysts on liver, kidney and on my humeral head and a hemangioma on my spine. No doctor ever thought any of them were anything to worry about. Apparently they are quite common.

I had recent breast MRI and they saw eight cysts in my liver. I'm also nervous although they said it's nothing.

I had cysts on my kidney and ovary in my CT scans prior to treatment. My doc actually told me beforehand to expect that random cysts will show up and not to panic. It' common. Stay positive. :) xo

Thanks all! So, I then had an abdominal MRI. Saw numerous "benign" cysts in the liver and spleen, but one Subtle indeterminate hypo enhancing lesion" in the liver. Although no medical professionals are too worried, they say they can't rule out metastases (sp?). So I'll have another MRI there in 3 months to see if anything's grown/changed, etc. More nervous but I'm keeping a positive attitude.

Unfortunately, I'm doing too much research on what the prognosis will be if they find this lesion is malignant. Does anyone know the best "thread" to read for people who are fighting and WINNING agains stage 4 breast cancer (that spread to the liver)?

    Thanks, soul sisters!!
