Firm behind nipples after Nipple Sparing and Recon surgery

Hello,

I was diagnosed with stage 1, Grade 3, Strongly hormonal, Her2- breast cancer in August 2017, had a Bilateral Mastectomy back in September 2017, went through chemo, and had reconstruction in March of this year. The reconstruction was with implants above the muscle.

I have begun to notice hard areas behind both of my nipples now (Cancer was only on right side), is this common? What would it be?
