Ohip coverage for implant in other breast after cancer

my plastic surgeon says I have to pay for the implant in the cancer free breast??? I need help. I thought both were covered

    Tell us where you live (Ontario, right?), and about your insurance. Have you reached out to the treatment team for the to submit it? If you share a bit more, it may be easier to get advice.

    i live in Brampton. I did have a consult at Princess Margaret but felt very let down by process although the plastic surgeon said ohip would cover both breast. I decided to have my lumpectomy in Brampton as well as my radiation at credit valley. My oncologist referred me to my current plastic surgeon who says because it’s just about volume I need to payfor one of them. I was a DD before and now B+ or small C.
