Hello, everyone!

So bear with me because this is my first post and I'm making this very late at night as my anxiety is getting the better of me.

I'm 18 years old with a long history of breast cancer in my family. The most prominent one being my grandma who had breast cancer 3 times. Once at 18, once at 25, and once at 30.A few months ago, I felt a smooth moveable lump and told my mom about it and got an appointment after it didn't go away. I was generally optimistic going into the appointment because I knew moveable lumps tend to be benign! They only did an ultrasound because I'm so young and believed the lump to be a historically benign tumor that they recommended a surgeon take out since it really wouldn't go away on its own. Again, I as generally optimistic.

A day later I felt another lump, also on my right breast, just outside of the areola, small, hard and immovable, connected to a larger also immovable and hard lump. I was concerned since this had not been there the day before at the ultrasound and brought this up to the surgeon when I met him a week later. He recommended I get another ultrasound before we make new steps.

At this next ultrasound, they only found the original lump, and this has led to the position I am in today: A removal surgery for both lumps in which they will be biopsies immediately after since they can't really find the second lump in any tests. I am sitting here ridden with anxiety and stress and just wanted to know if anyone else has been in this situation and what did you do? What was it? How did you sleep? Thank you
