Strange feeling in breast, worried!

I've found something odd in my breast during a self exam and it's really freaking me out. Rather than a round lump it feels like a long hard area, quite deep in the breast, upper outer area, but it does seem somewhat mobile and I can only feel it when lying down.It's very strange, I really don't know if its all in my head and I feel stupid bothering my GP if it's just fatty tissue or something, yet i can't stop thinking about it and it's not going away... I had hoped it may be a hormonal thing but 3 weeks later it's still there.

If you don't get it checked, you're going to worry yourself to death. Have it checked.
